Mission:

Dugg Dugg promotes contemporary art in and outside of Charlotte.  Through both the physical and virtual world, Dugg Dugg highlights challenging and noteworthy artists, hoping to spark dialogues and ideas. We aim to be a strong catalyst in bringing Charlotte communities together through diversity, innovation, and experimentation. Through Dugg Dugg, we hope ideas will sprout up, minds will open, and Charlotte will become a stronger presence within the contemporary art world.

About:

Dugg Dugg is a project based gallery that rotates throughout the city, curating group and solo shows in conjunction with the exhibition space.  The roving nature of Dugg Dugg allows for a constant redefinition of space and artwork.  Often, art and audience are drawn into neighborhoods and buildings which they would otherwise not venture through.  In the case when other organizations host Dugg Dugg, we are able to join communities; sharing vision by sharing space.

Dugg Dugg, in many ways, is the natural extension of three working artists seeing a void in Charlotte and being resourceful.  Making change through action.
